Temecula California,  May 2009 (back to top)

  • Four bedroom, ranch style house on 2/3 of an acre.
  • Original concrete septic tank, 1,200 gallon capacity, 28 years old.
  • Second leach field, 13 years old. (The original field (only 14 years old) failed in 1996, was dug up and replaced.)
  • Tank last pumped in 2004.
  • One lid broke in when pumped in 2004, second original lid broke when removed for Pirana installation.
  • Customer recently experienced septic gas odors in the home.
  • Upon learning septic gas was corrosive to concrete, the customer wanted the Pirana to stop further corrosion and avoid tank failure if possible.
  • We performed an on-site inspection and confirmed that, while tank corrosion was evident, the tank was still structurally sound.
  • We installed new risers to replace the badly corroded concrete lids, making for easier access during semi-annual service inspections.
  • We installed the Pirana. Customer reports the smells and odors were completely gone in two days.
  • We will perform semi-annual  inspections to insure system continues to perform as designed.

This is the Pirana Aerobic Bacteria Generator (ABG).
It comes in various sizes and configurations, depending on the design of the Septic System, the load put on the system, etc.
During the free onsite inspection we'll determine which size and configuration is right for your system and prepare a written price quote accordingly.
